Ubud Full Day Tour: River Rafting, Bali Swing & Rice Terraces

This full-day tour pairs two of Ubud's most active experiences with a slower afternoon through rice terraces, a coffee plantation, and a waterfall. A good fit if you want both movement and scenery in one day. Your first stop is Ayung River Rafting, the longest white-water rafting route in Bali. The Ayung River runs 12 kilometers through a steep jungle gorge with Class II and III rapids, carved rock walls, and small waterfalls along the banks. The rafting fee is paid directly at the venue. From the river, you head to Bali Swing, where you swing out over the jungle canopy and valley below. Several swing heights are available, from gentle arcs to longer drops above the treetops. Next, you visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Bali's most photographed landscapes. The terraced fields north of Ubud follow the contours of a deep valley, shaped by a traditional Balinese irrigation system called subak that dates back to the 9th century. Mid-afternoon, you stop at a Coffee Plantation for a tasting session. Sample local teas and coffees, including Luwak coffee, in an open-air setting surrounded by plantation trees. The day ends at Tegenungan Waterfall, a wide cascade set at the base of a jungle valley just south of Ubud. You walk down stone steps to the base, where you can stand close to the falls or wade in the pool below.
