Ubud Full Day Tour: Holy Spring Temple, Rice Terraces & ATV Quad Bike

This full-day tour moves through five stops in and around Ubud, starting with a sacred purification temple and ending with an off-road ATV ride. A good fit if you want culture, scenery, and activity in one day. Your first stop is Tirta Empul (Holy Spring Temple), one of Bali's most active places of worship. Built in 962 AD, the temple complex centers on a large spring-fed pool where Balinese Hindus perform melukat, a ritual water purification ceremony. You watch the ceremony from the courtyard or enter the pools yourself if you choose to participate. From there, you stop at a Coffee Plantation for a tasting session. Sample local teas and coffees, including Luwak coffee, in an open-air setting surrounded by plantation trees. Next, you visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Bali's most photographed landscapes. The terraced fields north of Ubud follow the contours of a deep valley, shaped by a traditional Balinese irrigation system called subak that dates back to the 9th century. From the rice terraces, you head to Bali Swing, where you swing out over the jungle canopy and valley below. Several swing heights are available, from gentle arcs to longer drops above the treetops. The day ends with the ATV Quad Bike track. You ride through jungle trails, rice field paths, small river crossings, and tunnels on an off-road circuit outside Ubud. No prior experience is required. The fee is paid directly at the venue.
