Bali Family Full Day Tour: River Tubing, Wildlife Park & Rice Terraces

This full-day tour covers five stops across Ubud and the surrounding area, mixing water activity, wildlife, a temple, a waterfall, and rice terraces. The route works for families with children of most ages. Your first stop is River Tubing, where you float down a calm jungle river on individual tubes. The current is gentle, the route stays shaded by tropical trees, and guides accompany the group throughout. Fees are paid directly at the venue. From the river, you head to Bali Bird Park or Bali Zoo. Both sit close to each other in Gianyar and offer hands-on encounters with local and exotic animals. Bali Bird Park holds over 1,000 birds across 250 species. Bali Zoo covers a broader range of animals including tigers, orangutans, and reptiles. Your driver helps you choose based on your group's preference on the day. Mid-tour, you visit Batuan Temple, built in 944 AD. The complex features dense stone carvings covering every surface of its gates and shrines, a style distinct to the Batuan village tradition. Next, you stop at Kanto Lampo Waterfall, set deep in the tropical jungle. Water flows over wide, layered rock formations, creating a natural pool area at the base. The day ends at Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Bali's most photographed landscapes. The terraced fields north of Ubud follow the contours of a deep valley, shaped by a traditional Balinese irrigation system called subak that dates back to the 9th century.
